So, look, at the grocery store I go to in Culver City, they are keeping the baby formula locked up tighter than the booze by far. It's behind a locked container with a security guard planted in front of it at all times. Instead of a two way aisle, the baby food is behind a one-way aisle with the other end closed off, a separate mini doorway to get in, and a separate person there to monitor it. In fairness, the lady who is usually there seems nice and everything, it's not her policy. Nobody is getting high on baby food though. I get keeping the booze a little out of reach from someone tucking away a sneaky pint, but this is bleak capitalism pretty clearly showing it's evil side, putting drastically more effort into guarding the food that keeps babies alive than any of the other food. Anyway, I sincerely hope from the bottom of my heart that anyone in a position where they need to steal food for their kids from a megacorporation never gets caught.
