Antifascists living in the south have to deal with a lot of hate on both fronts. One one side, they get a lot of folks from blue states who hear the southern drawl and assume that they are voting with the red state masses to turn our country into a distopian hellhole and are approached with, at the very least, some suspicion. On the other side, they are living in the dystopian hellhole that their neighbors are cheerleading while, by the stats, living around many more fascists. I imagine that it's tougher to keep up the good fight there than it is, say, up in the Bay Area and I applaud the strong southerners who continue to speak out against and fight against fascism.
