The irony is that the ability for self-reflection that's lacking in these comedians is, like, one of the key skills that could have made them better comedians. These guys aren't comedians, they're the guys who get drunk with other racists and tell their racist jokes the loudest so that they can get the most laughs at the same hackneyed racist jokes they all take turns telling each other. They want to take that rush of approval and acceptance as a funny guy to a larger stage, but all they've got is "material" that's only interesting for being gross and lame.
