OK, forgive the long explanation, but this contest winner month was pretty funny.

The contest winner left me a comment of "Band Other Than the One I Came to See"

I thought it was a good idea and I let them know to join the contest and left a funny comment something like "Yeah, everybody knows you don't wear the merch of the band that you came to see at the concert"

Then they turned around and left the "Band I Came to This Concert to See" as an idea and absolutely carried it with the votes, which is hilarious.

Now I'm questioning every bit of concert etiquette I know. I sound pretty dated with this, but I started going to concerts when I was a teenager in like the mid-to-late-90's. Most people didn't have the internet then, so the way that concert etiquette used to be passed down was from elder statesman type drunk and high 18 year olds to neophyte drunk and high younger teenagers. The whole thing was like a game of telephone, but between blitzed teenagers who could barely hear anything over the loud live music playing in the background. So, I don't know man, looks like the internet has spoken and it's cool. Suck on that random kid who called me a poser for wearing a Bad Religion shirt to a Bad Religion concert in 1996, I looked cool and you were probably just jealous.
