I lived off State Street in Santa Barbara for more than a few years and I used to go sit and chill with the dirty kid crust punks from time to time. I'd give them smokes and they'd chat with me about the wandering life and let me play my shtty NOFX and Rancid covers on their guitars. More than a few of them were from Appalachia and they were pretty much all inherently antifascist as fvvk. Anyway, I know that's, like, just a subset of the Appalachian antifascists, but I like them and I dig the dirty kid folk punk I'd hear them play.
